COLD CHAIN TRAINING PROGRAMME



Cold chain training programme

As a part of training program this moth we have arranged training of cold chain product for all pharma depots.

Following points were discussed during training
Unloading / Inward process:
·         While unloading cold chain products it is mandatory to check the temperature of products.
·         Condition of product & its packing & condition of coolants inside the boxes if material have received through ordinary courier.
·         It is suggested to check the dispatch details of courier to identify the material has been reached within 48 hrs. Of its dispatch.
·         Material should be kept immediately in to the WIC to maintain the temperature.
·         Any deviation found among above practice of if temperature has not been maintained in between 2 to 8 degree it should be informed to head office.
Dispatch / Outward:
·         It is suggested that each cold chain consignment should be delivered within 48 hrs.
·         If there is Sunday or Saturday in between please do not dispatch consignment.
·         Further it is mandatory to keep ice-pads / coolants for 5 days inside the Deep freezer for freezing up to the expectations & norms suggested by company.
·         To maintain this 5 days slab it is suggested that bin card to be maintained for each Deep freezer & a signage to be kept as green for those deep freezer in which ice pads/ coolants are ready to use & red for those in which ice pads/ coolants are not ready.
·         Also practical training of packing is done to understand how to keep coolants in boxes.
