Week Activity

As part of enhance the knowledge of the team , at velocity we have conducted workshop on Effective COMMUNICATION skill on 07.07.2011. at 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm The work shop was conducted by Mr. Avinash Wani & Mr. Ashfak Shaikh.
The work shop start from traditional communication system to today’s high on spot communication & easily available equipments for so called life line of any business “LIVE COMMUNICATION”.

What is Communication?

COMMUNICATION IS THE ART OF TRANSMITTING INF ORMATION, IDEAS AND ATTITUDES FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER.COMMUNICATION IS THE PROCESS OF MEANINGFUL INTERACTION AMONG HUMAN BEINGS

After this actual phone calls came to participant related work & how they are attending it upto what extended they are correct & where they are how to answered explain them.

The highlight of workshop & points cover as under.
1)Hearing v/s Listening … Hearing – Physical process, natural, passive

Listening – Physical as well
as mental process, active,
learned process, a skill hard.
You must choose to participate in the process of listening.
2) VALUE OF LISTENING

 Good listening reflects courtesy and good manners.
 Good listening can eliminate a number of imaginary grievances of employees.
 Listening is a positive activity rather than a passive or negative activity.

3) ESSENTIALS OF COMMUNICATION
In it taken do’s * Don’s
 Always think ahead about what you are going to say.
 Use simple words and phrases that are understood by every body.
 Increase your knowledge on all subjects you are required to speak.

4) How to Improve Existing Level of  COMMUNICATION?

5) Importance of  status  knowing of  caller .

Along with the above on Interview between one customer & call center executive  has conducted between Mr. Ganesh Omble ( Customer )  Mr. Ahfak Shaikh ( Call center executive )  This  live activity given lot  of understanding to them for better  & perfect communication activity.

In the end all depot Manager & senior staff  has shared their  views for good communication.

In this we are starting with the closing of last financial year review (2010-2011) and goals for new financial year (2011-12)
From 1st of April 2011 the new financial year started.
                  The last financial year the following depots have achieved their goals:

1)      Pidilite depot: Mr Ganesh Modak create history where stood first in all over India He  achieved 100% K.R.A.
2)      The Amway Depot is  also doing well & doing upto the mark. Congrats to Mr. Ganesh Obale & his team.
3)      Adani Depot under the leadership of Mr Yogesh Gaikwad is doing good job.
4)      As per company’s logistic executive it is the best depot of west division.
      As usual  Lupin Depot is also doing a fantastic job under the leadership of Mr Chetan Patil & his team.
     Also the Wockhardt has bounce back and doing amazing work under the able leadership of Vishwajeet Patil.  I am confident that this year they will be eligible for A+ grade.
     This year Mr Avinash Wani has set the goal sale-collection-credit note-K.R.A. for forth year 2011-2012. He is meticulously calculating the progress on monthly basis.

    Secondly, in the last year  we have started a lot of H. R. activities like training session by  the experts, quality lunch at concession rate, starting grduity for our people. Also providing for a staff etc. etc.
   Also a lot of hyper activity has been done in last year like celebration of environment day celebration, women’s day celebration, sports day, deep mahotsav, dahi handi, ganesh mahotsav, Navratri ( dandiya) ustav etc. etc.
    We have grown in last year the fact is everybody want to grow. I believe that we should use the word carefully which will bring the growth.
What   we speak is what we think and what we do is what we think our 
thinking is influenced by our action..
If state of mind has to be positive then we should speak such words that support our positive state of mind.

Words to encounter:

1.       ‘Yes’ can be said even by saying ‘No’ to anything, think what is it that you are saying ‘Yes’ to . When we say ‘Yes’ to something then it sets us free from the blame game as we take the responsibility for that ‘Yes’.
2.       ‘Maybe’ should be replaced by ‘Surety’ In real world ‘Maybe’ means ‘Never’. Does live on one word and that is surety. ‘Maybe’ is used because the person is not sure.
3.       Try should be replaced with ‘I will do it’ Using the word ‘try’ prepares an escape route for the person using it. He can always say that he tried doing something but could not. Instead use the word ‘I will do it’ This way you commit yourself to do the job.

 
1.       ‘Hopeful’ should be replace with ‘sure’
2.       ‘Next time’ should be replaced with ‘Now’.
3.       ‘Have to ‘should be replaced with ‘ I want to’ When one says ‘I want to’ he takes control of whatever he is doing. He takes ownership of his actions. In one course of time the team of every entrepreneur should speak the language of ‘ I want to’
4.       ‘Problems’ should be replaced with ‘Challenges’ The difference between a challenge and a problem is that in challenge we find solutions while problems stop us from finding solutions to all our challenges Every individual has only challenges and not problems. We all have capabilities to bring out solutions to all our challenges and when we stop looking for solutions it becomes a problem.
5.       Tension just means that a person does not want anything solved. They will never grow in the life.
6.       ‘Can’t’ should be replaced with ‘there is possibility’ or asking a question ‘ is there a possibility?’


               So the moral of the story is use your words carefully and remove the above words. Chose the words carefully, which will bring the growth to each & every individual.

We are glad to update that Mr. Sachin Rathord has promoted as a Manager for all FMGC depot. He has good experience of handling the men power, regular in working

& having passionate for wrok.

Welcome to Mr . Sachin Naik in accounts as a senior accountant post. He has rejoined us from 18/4/2011 .
He is Hard worker & deep knowledge of all accounts & C & F related reimbursement claims & having capacity to handle well bank related issue maintaining good relation

with them.

Wishing both of them all the best & good time with organistaion.

DIFFERNTIATED ACTIVITY IN VELOCITY



                VELOCITY IS KNOWN FOR THE NEW TRENDS IN THE ORGANISATION.  OUR COLLEGUE MR KAUSHIK MITRA HAS RESIGNED DUE TO HIS MOTHER  MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.    AS A ORGANISATION HAS GIVEN SENDOFF TO MR KAUSHIK MITRA . IN THE SENDOFF ALL DEPOT INCHARGES AND ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT PRESENT.  IN THE BEGINNING  AVINASH WANI HAS TOLD  ABOUT HIM AND HIS NATURE THEN SANJEEV PALOD AND NIKHIL PALOD HAS HIGHLITED HIS TWO YEARS JOURNEY WITH ORGANISATION.
            MR KAUSHIK MITRA EXPRESSED HIS VIEW  ABOUT  THE ORGANISATION AND TOLD HE LEARNED LOT OF BASIC LOGISTICS SYSTEMS   & HE GIVEN  THANKS TO SANJEEV PALOD FOR GIVING BIG OPPORTUNITY OF HANDLING FMCG DIFFERENCE DEPOT. AlSO FOR SUPPORT IN DIFFERENT MATTER  THANKS GIVEN BY HIM TO  NIKHIL PALOD  AND AVINASH WANI ALL THE  COLLEGUES .

Last week activity in velocity -

1) In Amway depot they have done pick & packed 10 times more invoices than there everyday average bills in three days. Good job done by the Amway team.
2) In internal KRA for March'11,  Pidilite got 70 out of 70 marks, Lupin 80 out of 70 marks.
3) On 15th April Mr. Anil Mathur - GM -Commercial & Logistics has visited to Lupin depot. He has verified all the system related to QC,  warehouse maintenance. He has given technically & pharma related many new suggestions for perfection in managing the warehouse further more effectively. Mr. Avinash Wani & Chetan has presented the statistics of sales, collection,  cn, along with unique system adopted by them for doing their own evolution. the system like internal KRA of 100 marks & all depot department wise audit of 600 marks.Mr. Mathur very carefully gone through all this system & ask for KRA format.

We really want to thanks to him for giving lot of positive motivational thoughts & practically possible ideas given for implementing it to depot

Achievement for the month

(1.) We like to complement Pidilite, Lupin, Wockhardt, Amway, Adani depot for completing  the month end dispatches within 31st Mar 2011 & also for finishing there stock checking on 1st April 2011.

(2.) Lupin has achieved in internal KRA 70 marks out of 80. Also in yearly set goal for last year they have fulfilled target of maintaining average DSO 20 days & average collection 144 %, Congratulations to Mr. Chetan & team. Also they set new goal with the action plan for the year 2011-2012



Sales Growth   
 
1) Order processing & dispatching with in 8 working hours. 
2) Proactively stocks availability  & N.A. closing monitoring.
3) Time to Time study of division , Party sales growth.
4) Regular visit to RSM office & discussion on their planning.
5) No order will block for the overdue payment.... collecting the blank cheque.
To reduce total CN %  from 4.46 to 3.75%
BDE CN from 2.42 % to 2.25%.
1) S.G.R. CN controlling  through RSM , Requirement order monitoring through S & S for non moving product.
2) B.D.E. CN monitoring & data providing of high value expiry product to RSM & personally  attending during visit to distributors & Telephonic ally.
3) Price difference CN as per H.O.Guidelines verification.
Per Month  DSO 18 days & Collection upto 160% .
1) All payments recovery on or before  21st day from L.R. date
2) Blank cheque collection from party.( 60 party)
3) Regular defaulter party against advance D.D. Three parties.
4) Executing the company policy of S & S effectively.
QC  system top priority.
Regular monitoring of  your provided QC inspection points - 9
( Daily ware house maintenance, Mapping of Walk in cooler, Cold room & every day temp checking , pest controlling,Power back, AMC of WIC)

(3.) We have organized to view the live final match of World Cup Cricket between India & Sri lanka within our organization with the employees. We have enjoyed throughout the game like the crowd enjoyed on the ground including snacks, cold drinks etc.

PASSION FOR WORK


If you are excited about what you are doing then being passionate is natural. The best way to be passionate about one’s work is to enjoy it. When someone joins an organization, they are absolutely enthusiastic about it; but they run out of stream after few years. One needs to find ways to look forward to a Monday morning. We spend at least 8-9 hours a day at work, which is almost 25-30 percent of the week & hence, it is essential that we are passionate about what we do.
